# Safety

> **WARNING – Invisible laser radiation.**
> The amplifier emits up to +13 dBm (C-band) and +10 dBm (L-band) at its optical connectors.
> Never look into a fiber end or connector.
> Keep dust caps on unused ports.

- DC supply: the +48 V terminal is normally grounded, so the supply voltage is **−48 V**.
  Check polarity before connecting.
